Read full methodology and assumptions →Planning in EUR: where to start
The income-tax tool starts from annual taxable income for its stated single-assessment scenario. It is not a complete gross-to-net wage calculator and does not calculate every payroll contribution or household adjustment.
Compare the same costs and time period
For a EUR savings target, compare your planned monthly contribution with essential expenses first. Keep account fees, tax and a changing investment return outside the constant-rate growth illustration.
Fixed-rate loan payment in EUR
Enter your own amount and nominal annual rate. This general formula assumes equal monthly payments and excludes fees, insurance, taxes, variable rates and product-specific contract rules.
Worked example: 10.000,00 € at an assumed 6% nominal annual rate over 36 months gives 304,22 € per month. This rate is an example, not a Germany market rate or offer.
Formula: payment = P × r / (1 − (1+r)−n), where r is the annual percentage divided by 1200 and n is months. At zero interest, payment = P/n. Use the full loan calculator.

Planned local coverage
These tools are coming soon and are not available as calculations:
- gross-to-net payroll
Each needs its own official sources, supported circumstances and test cases before publication.
Before you compare results
Keep the currency and time period consistent. A monthly income estimate is an annual average unless the calculator explicitly models individual pay periods. The general loan and savings tools do not apply Germany tax law, fees, benefit rules or investment guarantees.
Changing the display currency does not convert exchange rates or change the legal jurisdiction of a calculator. Use the dedicated local tool for the scope described above.
