Planning in EUR: where to start

The stamp-duty calculator is limited to one ordinary second-hand residential house and its stated consideration basis. Apartments, new-build/VAT treatment, bulk purchases and special reliefs need different checks.

Compare the same costs and time period

A mortgage deposit target is separate from stamp duty and other purchase costs. Use a EUR savings goal for the deposit, then add separately quoted legal, valuation and financing costs to your own budget.

Fixed-rate loan payment in EUR

Enter your own amount and nominal annual rate. This general formula assumes equal monthly payments and excludes fees, insurance, taxes, variable rates and product-specific contract rules.

Illustrative monthly payment: €456.33

Worked example: €15,000.00 at an assumed 6% nominal annual rate over 36 months gives €456.33 per month. This rate is an example, not a Ireland market rate or offer.

Formula: payment = P × r / (1 − (1+r)−n), where r is the annual percentage divided by 1200 and n is months. At zero interest, payment = P/n. Use the full loan calculator.

Planned local coverage

These tools are coming soon and are not available as calculations:

Each needs its own official sources, supported circumstances and test cases before publication.

Before you compare results

Keep the currency and time period consistent. A monthly income estimate is an annual average unless the calculator explicitly models individual pay periods. The general loan and savings tools do not apply Ireland tax law, fees, benefit rules or investment guarantees.

Changing the display currency does not convert exchange rates or change the legal jurisdiction of a calculator. Use the dedicated local tool for the scope described above.
