The salary tool models its documented Ontario and Alberta scenarios. Choose the applicable province and year before comparing deductions; the result does not cover every Canadian province or personal tax adjustment.
Compare the same costs and time period
Keep your CAD savings target separate from any foreign-currency account. A deposit projection uses your assumed constant return; it does not account for registered-account contribution limits, taxes or investment risk.
Fixed-rate loan payment in CAD
Enter your own amount and nominal annual rate. This general formula assumes equal monthly payments and excludes fees, insurance, taxes, variable rates and product-specific contract rules.
Worked example: $15,000.00 at an assumed 6% nominal annual rate over 36 months gives $456.33 per month. This rate is an example, not a Canada market rate or offer.
Formula: payment = P × r / (1 − (1+r)−n), where r is the annual percentage divided by 1200 and n is months. At zero interest, payment = P/n. Use the full loan calculator.

Planned local coverage
These tools are coming soon and are not available as calculations:
- remaining provinces and territories
- RRSP
- TFSA
Each needs its own official sources, supported circumstances and test cases before publication.
Before you compare results
Keep the currency and time period consistent. A monthly income estimate is an annual average unless the calculator explicitly models individual pay periods. The general loan and savings tools do not apply Canada tax law, fees, benefit rules or investment guarantees.
Changing the display currency does not convert exchange rates or change the legal jurisdiction of a calculator. Use the dedicated local tool for the scope described above.
