What these calculators cover

For resident expatriates receiving ordinary employment wages. Local employment income tax is zero in this scope. Enter any actual annual payroll deductions separately. This tool does not calculate GOSI, SANED, national/GCC pension deductions, zakat, business or investment taxes, or tax owed in another country. A zero income-tax result does not mean there are no other deductions.

Model / rate version: 2026 · employment-income scope checked 14 October. Existing model, not independently reverified in full. See source-check records and calculator exclusions.

Planning in SAR: where to start

The available salary calculator is scoped to its documented expatriate-wage scenario. Do not use it as a universal Saudi payroll result; citizenship, contributions and benefits require the relevant treatment.

Compare the same costs and time period

For a SAR budget, separate recurring living costs from one-off relocation or annual bills. The VAT tool estimates standard-rated prices; the general interest-based repayment formula does not model murabaha or ijara contracts.

Fixed-rate loan payment in SAR

Enter your own amount and nominal annual rate. This general formula assumes equal monthly payments and excludes fees, insurance, taxes, variable rates and product-specific contract rules.

Illustrative monthly payment: ‏١٬٥٢١٫١٠ ر.س.‏

Worked example: ‏٥٠٬٠٠٠٫٠٠ ر.س.‏ at an assumed 6% nominal annual rate over 36 months gives ‏١٬٥٢١٫١٠ ر.س.‏ per month. This rate is an example, not a Saudi Arabia market rate or offer.

Formula: payment = P × r / (1 − (1+r)−n), where r is the annual percentage divided by 1200 and n is months. At zero interest, payment = P/n. Use the full loan calculator.

Planned local coverage

These tools are coming soon and are not available as calculations:

Each needs its own official sources, supported circumstances and test cases before publication.

Before you compare results

Keep the currency and time period consistent. A monthly income estimate is an annual average unless the calculator explicitly models individual pay periods. The general loan and savings tools do not apply Saudi Arabia tax law, fees, benefit rules or investment guarantees.

Changing the display currency does not convert exchange rates or change the legal jurisdiction of a calculator. Use the dedicated local tool for the scope described above.

Sources and maintenance

Source links and existing model years are retained from the current calculators. Check official guidance for your circumstances and report issues through our contact page. New local payroll, pension, property and benefit tools require source review and tests before publication.

What these Saudi Arabia tools cover

Country-specific tools are listed with their supported circumstances and source-review limits on each calculator. General planning tools use SAR display where selected; a currency change does not apply local tax, lending or product rules.

Coverage and links checked October 21, 2026. Tax-rule review dates remain specific to each model; this coverage check does not certify every local rule.
