Use a monthly EUR budget to compare recurring expenses with your own net-income figure. If an expense is annual, divide it across the same planning period before choosing a monthly savings contribution.
Compare the same costs and time period
Compare the repayment illustration with the lender’s payment schedule, total charges and rate definition. It excludes borrower insurance, fees and local tax effects. French payroll, pension and property-tax calculations are not available.
Fixed-rate loan payment in EUR
Enter your own amount and nominal annual rate. This general formula assumes equal monthly payments and excludes fees, insurance, taxes, variable rates and product-specific contract rules.
Worked example: 10 000,00 € at an assumed 6% nominal annual rate over 36 months gives 304,22 € per month. This rate is an example, not a France market rate or offer.
Formula: payment = P × r / (1 − (1+r)−n), where r is the annual percentage divided by 1200 and n is months. At zero interest, payment = P/n. Use the full loan calculator.

Planned local coverage
These tools are coming soon and are not available as calculations:
- net salary
- income tax
Each needs its own official sources, supported circumstances and test cases before publication.
Before you compare results
Keep the currency and time period consistent. A monthly income estimate is an annual average unless the calculator explicitly models individual pay periods. The general loan and savings tools do not apply France tax law, fees, benefit rules or investment guarantees.
Changing the display currency does not convert exchange rates or change the legal jurisdiction of a calculator. Use the dedicated local tool for the scope described above.
General planning reading
These guides explain planning concepts using US examples; they are not France tax guidance.

Source links and existing model years are retained from the current calculators. Check official guidance for your circumstances and report issues through our contact page. New local payroll, pension, property and benefit tools require source review and tests before publication.
