What these calculators cover

For expatriate employees receiving ordinary wages. UAE personal income tax is zero. Enter actual annual payroll deductions separately. Excludes national/GCC pension contributions, unemployment insurance, benefits, business/corporate tax and any home-country tax. A zero income-tax result does not mean there are no other deductions.

Model / rate version: 2026 · employment-income scope checked 14 October. Existing model, not independently reverified in full. See source-check records and calculator exclusions.

Planning in AED: where to start

Start with the supported expatriate salary scenario and check the exclusions before treating a result as disposable income. Keep employer benefits and any personal deductions separate when building a monthly budget.

Compare the same costs and time period

The UAE VAT calculator adds or extracts the standard rate for supported transactions. For a loan comparison, use the actual repayment schedule and fees; a constant-rate illustration is not a flat-rate or Islamic-finance quotation.

Fixed-rate loan payment in AED

Enter your own amount and nominal annual rate. This general formula assumes equal monthly payments and excludes fees, insurance, taxes, variable rates and product-specific contract rules.

Illustrative monthly payment: ‏1,521.10 د.إ.‏

Worked example: ‏50,000.00 د.إ.‏ at an assumed 6% nominal annual rate over 36 months gives ‏1,521.10 د.إ.‏ per month. This rate is an example, not a United Arab Emirates market rate or offer.

Formula: payment = P × r / (1 − (1+r)−n), where r is the annual percentage divided by 1200 and n is months. At zero interest, payment = P/n. Use the full loan calculator.

Planned local coverage

These tools are coming soon and are not available as calculations:

Each needs its own official sources, supported circumstances and test cases before publication.

Before you compare results

Keep the currency and time period consistent. A monthly income estimate is an annual average unless the calculator explicitly models individual pay periods. The general loan and savings tools do not apply United Arab Emirates tax law, fees, benefit rules or investment guarantees.

Changing the display currency does not convert exchange rates or change the legal jurisdiction of a calculator. Use the dedicated local tool for the scope described above.

Sources and maintenance

Source links and existing model years are retained from the current calculators. Check official guidance for your circumstances and report issues through our contact page. New local payroll, pension, property and benefit tools require source review and tests before publication.

What these United Arab Emirates tools cover

Country-specific tools are listed with their supported circumstances and source-review limits on each calculator. General planning tools use AED display where selected; a currency change does not apply local tax, lending or product rules.

Coverage and links checked October 21, 2026. Tax-rule review dates remain specific to each model; this coverage check does not certify every local rule.
